Course Description  
  The Heartsaver AED Course teaches the basic techniques of adult CPR and use of an AED.  Students also learn to use barrier devices in CPR and give first aid for choking in the responsive victim.  The course teaches how to recognize the signs of four major emergencies; heart attack, stroke, cardiac arrest, and choking.  
     
  Who should take this course?  
  Firefighters, police, airline personnel, security guards, employees in the workplace where AEDs are provided and lay people with home Automated External Defibrillators (AED).  
     
  How do I set up a class at my company or organization?  
  Please contact us and our helpful staff will be glad to schedule an appointment with our certified instructors.  Courses are conducted at your facility, at your convenience.  Days, evenings are available.  You will need to provide adequate floor space, and a VCR with monitor.  
     
  What is the cost?  
  $60.00 per person (four participant minimum)  
  Additional Cost ($15.00 AHA Heartsaver AED Manual)  
  All prices are subject to change without notice.  
     
  Approximate Course Length  
  3 1/2 - 4 hrs.  
     
  Cancellation Policy  
  A cancellation fee of $50.00 will be assessed if emi is notified less than 48 hours prior to program.  Non-refundable deposit required for rescheduling.
