Course Description  
  CPR for Family and Friends is a modular course that teaches lay rescuers skills in CPR and relief of choking in the responsive victim.  The course presents information about the AHA adult Chain of Survival and signs of heart attack, cardiac arrest, stroke, and choking in adults.  The course also presents information on the AHA pediatric Chain of Survival, signs of choking in infants and children, prevention of the most common fatal pediatric injuries, and reduction in the risk of sudden infant death syndrome.  A written examination is optional.  
     
  Who should take this course?  
  All lay rescuers, including school children parents and any family members of patients with high risk of cardiac arrest and other lay persons who want to learn rescue skills for loved ones.  
     
  How do I set up a class?  
  Please contact us and our helpful staff will be glad to schedule an appointment with our certified instructors.  Courses are conducted at your facility, at your convenience.  Days, evenings are available.  You will need to provide adequate floor space, and a VCR with monitor.  
     
  What is the cost?  
  $40.00 per person (eight person minimum class cost)  
  Additional fee of $10.00 for purchase of AHA manuals. * Multiple manuals maybe needed for this course.  
  Payment in full or PO required prior to certifications being issued.

  Cancellation Policy  
  A cancellation fee of $50.00 will be assessed if emi is notified less than 48 hours prior to program.  Non-refundable deposit required for rescheduling.
