Course Description  
  The Heartsaver CPR in Schools Course is designed to teach both adult and pediatric lay rescuer CPR.  The course presents information about the AHA adult and pediatric Chain of Survival, signs of heart attack, cardiac arrest, stroke and choking in adults.  The course also covers signs of choking in infants and children, prevention of the most common causes of fatal pediatric injuries, and reducing risk of sudden infant death syndrome.   
     
  Who should take this course?  
Educational Institutions.
Middle and high school students.
     
  How do I set up a class at my company or organization?  
  Please contact us and our helpful staff will be glad to schedule an appointment with our certified instructors.  Courses are conducted at your facility, at your convenience.  Days, evenings are available.  You will need to provide adequate floor space, and a VCR with monitor.  
     
  What is the cost?  
  $40.00 per person, (eight person minimum). [CPR in school with first-aid]  
  $30.00 per person (eight person minimum).  [CPR only]  
  $30.00 per person (eight person minimum). [first-aid only]  
  Additional fee of $15.00 for purchase of AHA manual.  
  Payment in full or PO required prior to certifications being issued.

  3-4 hours  
     
  Cancellation Policy  
  A cancellation fee of $50.00 will be assessed if emi is notified less than 48 hours prior to program.  Non-refundable deposit required for rescheduling.
